Organic Agave Nectar

Where coconut oil provides a longer lasting energy supply, we chose USDA certified organic agave nectar to serve as a fast-acting "instant" energy.  Agave nectar from Mexican blue agave plants is rapidly absorbed but still tests at a 27 glycemic value which is incredibly low compared to other sugars.  Unlike many sports drinks and gels, the sugar in agave nectar does not cause a dramatic insulin spike, making Electro-bites superior for sustained energy during sustained activities.

Our agave is less than 50% fructose and is not processed with any sucrose, maltose or unnatural bulking fillers. It contains inulins which are bacteria that benefit your digestive system.
